Wire 2026: The International Trade Fair Dedicated to the Wire Industry

The wire and industrial cable processing sector is continuously evolving thanks to new production technologies, innovative materials, and increasingly automated processes. Among the most important global events is Wire Düsseldorf 2026. With as many as 1,500 exhibitors from more than 60 different countries, it stands out as one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to the production and processing of metal wires and cables. The event will take place from April 13 to 17, 2026, at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center in Germany, bringing together companies and professionals from all over the world.

They are used in contexts that require reliability, safety, and long-term durability, such as lifting³ and material handling systems, industrial plants, and industrial cranes, as well as in various applications in the industrial fishing ⁴ and agricultural sectors⁵

Alongside traditional wire ropes, there are also steel cables designed for specific applications. These products may include surface treatments or protective coatings that improve resistance to corrosion and harsh environmental conditions. One common example is the galvanization of steel wires⁶, a widely used process in which a layer of zinc is applied to the surface of the wire to protect it from oxidation and extend its service life, even in humid or aggressive environments.
