Fiber ropes

  • Twisted ropes (3, 4 lignoli)

    These ropes are usually produced with polypropylene "core" yarn blue color. On request we can produce these ropes also with other kinds of yarn and colors.

    The polypropylene "core" is a tested yarn characterized by both a major resistence to abrasion and a greater breaking point ( about 30% more with respect to the traditional polypropylene) that gives the rope a lesser stretching capacity and a longer life. For these characteristics these ropes are normally used in many fishing fields like acquiculture and mussel farming.

    On request we can produce these ropes also with other textile yarns.

  • Plaited ropes - Mooring

    These ropes are produced in blue polypropylene "core" and are essentially used for mooring and acquiculture.

  • Braided ropes

    The braided ropes are realized with a double braiding (internally and externally) that gives the ropes a greater rigidness, a longer life and a lesser stretching capacity. They are normally produced in polypropylene "core", polietylene, polyamide a.t, etc…

Combination ropes

Our product range of combination ropes is able to satisfy the most different fishing methods requirements, both locally and abroad.

The combination rope characterization results from the following parameters:

  • construction of combination rope (3. 4, 5, 6 strands),
  • construction of steel wire strand (rigid or flexible),
  • strand finish (plastic coated or not),
  • fiber coating (one fiber coating or different fibers coating),
  • fiber material (polypropylene"core", polypropylene multifilament, polyester, polyamide...).

Diameters range goes from 8 mm to 80 mm and above.

Steel wire ropes for fishing

All our fishing ropes are produced with hot dipped galvanized wires made especially for fishing: Zinc coating mass between 180 and 220 g/m2, according to the diameter of the wire.

The wires employed to make our fishing ropes have a tensile strength of 150kg/mm2, the most appropriate to obtain the rope best mechanical performance (in flexibility, folding, elongation etc.) and duration.

Our standard production of steel wire ropes for fishing includes the items shown in the tables below. As manufacturers, we are able to produce steel fishing ropes in different constructions (72 wire, 102 wires, 186 wire, etc.) and diameters on request.
