Steel fishing ropes not only undergo the corrosive action of
sea water but are also subject to the tremendous stress that occurs during
fishing manoeuvres.
Therefore these ropes must be made with excellent galvanized
metal wires which have the most suitable resistence in order to achieve the best
mechanical characteristics(flexibility, torsion, etc…)
These properties of the wires( a good galvanization and a
suitable resistence) give the fishing rope a major protection against the
corrosive action of the salt water and a greater resistence to wear.
All our fishing ropes are produced with strongly galvanized
wires made especially for fishing that weigh between 180 and 220 grammes per
square metre, according to the diameter of the wire.
Our fishing ropes are normally made with wires that have a
resistence to tensile stress of 150kg/mm2, optimal for giving wires the best
mechanical charateristics such as flexibility, folding, extension etc.
Our normal production of steel fishing ropes includes a
formation of 42 wires (trawling) and a formation of 114 wires (purshing).
We also produce
steel fishing ropes in other formations (72 wire, 102 wires, 186 wires….) and
diameters on request.
