The history of the company stretches
back to the year 1927 when Mr. Giuseppe Rosetti , with the help
of his three young sons, Silvestro ,Alfredo e Simone (who were
later followed by the birth of Nicola) formed the company "Rosetti
Giuseppe & Sons", which produced ropes, twines and
fishing nets. This was an activity that was already present in the family and handed down from father to son.In some ancient documents that go back to the seventeenth century, there is evidence of this name carried out this work.
The first work plant for the production of ropes consisted of a large wooden wheel that was hand turned to produce energy, a few wooden trestles lined up in the open air and a few rudimentary tools. The hard work and initiative of Giuseppe Rosetti, together with the technical skills acquired allowed the company to rapidly affirm itself both nationally and abroad. In 1936 at the Fishing Fair of Ancona, Rosetti & Sons was given an award as the first company in the Ascoli Piceno area to export its products. Silvestro Rosetti succeeded his father as director of the company, and was in turn succeeded by his own son Giuseppe, named after his grandfather, and who is the present administrator. During the years, the Rosetti family has gained experience in parallel sectors. This new knowledge had let the way to the formation of a new company in the 1970's, which is the actual "Eurfuni srl". Apart from absorbing the work of Rosetti Giuseppe & Sons the new company has expanded and completed its range of products both in all directions. In its new work plant, that covers more than 20,000 metres, the company now produces wires, wire ropes, slings, combination ropes and twines for different uses. With its own production the company is present in the various sectors of utilization on both a national market and abroad. It has a particular inclination towards the fishing industry where it is always among the
main companies, thanks to the reliability of its
products.
